Prayer

We believe that prayer is a vital part of the life of every believer and should be at the heart of every church community. Prayer is fundamentally about building and nurturing our relationship with God. Prayer binds us into Him and empowers our Christian life and our community together, as we call on God for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. To help us pray together we have weekly and monthly prayer gatherings.

AMP - AM PRAYER - Wednesday Morning Prayer Gathering - 6.30am

Worship & Prayer Evenings - Once A Month on a Tuesday or Wednesday

Once a month we gather together for an evening of worship and prayer. These evenings usually start with a time of worship and encounter and we'll then go on to pray about various aspects of church life and other topical themes. Click here to find out more.

Encounter Nights

Launching in 2026 we're hosting termly evenings of Spirit-led worship & praying, which give us an opportunity to encounter God afrehs. These evenings won't have a fixed agenda but we hope will provide an environment where you can pause, listen and respond to the Holy Spirit. Click here to find out more.

Week of Prayer & Fasting

As has become our pattern over a number of years we gather the whole church for a week in January to pray and fast together for the New Year. We ask God to speak to us about the year ahead and how He wants to work in us as a church family. Click here to find out more.

Fasting

Fasting is a voluntary choice rather than a spiritual requirement for God’s love, serving not as a tool for manipulation or a social badge, but as a disciplined submission of the body to the Lord. By "dialing down the noise" of physical cravings and avoiding distractions like extra sleep or media, you shift your attention from the immediate to the eternal, training your spirit to resist sin and align with God’s will. Ultimately, fasting acts as a prayer amplifier that turns hunger pangs into reminders of our dependence on Him, transforming a personal commitment into a powerful season of worship, spiritual warfare, and renewed gratitude.
