Pursuing His Presence : Gothenburg is a day conference for all those hungry to pursue the presence of God and grow in the prophetic.
We're excited to be hosting our first Pursuing His Presence : The Conference in Mainland Europe with the aim of strengthening and encouraging the ChristCentral Church plant in Gothenburg: Gud Först Göteborg. Our speakers will include Jeremy & Ann Simpkins and Graham Pyman. The event will be served by teams from Gud Först Göteborg and ChristCentral churches in the UK.
Join us in October 2019 for a day of equipping and encounter, with teams experienced in hosting the presence of God and enabling others to encounter His presence for themselves. Our passion is to help people and church communities discover how we can all play a unique part in bringing the Kingdom message to the world around us. The teams include a number of people who are gifted in the area of prophetic ministry, whose conviction is that God wants to speak to all of us.
These sessions will be helpful for anybody who is hungry to deepen their relationship with God and discover how He communicates His heart and purposes to us in so many different ways. This is our first Pursuing His Presence event in Mainland Europe and we're really excited to be able to serve churches in Gothenburg and the surrounding area.
Come and learn, hear stories of God moving in people’s lives and in their work places. Come and experience the presence of the Spirit, come and be filled or re-filled with the Spirit. Come and receive fresh impartation to go and bring heaven to earth in the places God has already given you influence - at home, at work, at school, at the gym or with other parents at the school gate!
This promises to be an excellent day for all those hungry to pursue the presence of God and grow in the prophetic.
If you are based in the UK, why not consider coming for the weekend to be part of this exciting event!
We're in the process of finalising speakers and hope to be able to update the list but our confirmed speakers are as follows:
Jeremy & Ann have been involved in leading Newfrontiers churches for over 25 years, including Hastings (one of the first churches to relate to Terry Virgo) and Eastbourne (one of the first strategic Newfrontiers church plants). In 2009 Jeremy & Ann moved from the church they had planted in Teeside (Jubilee Church) to lead Christ Central Manchester. In 2014 the team in Manchester appointed a local pastor to lead Christ Central Manchester releasing Jeremy to lead the ChristCentral team and travel amongst the churches which the team serves. After 7 years in Manchester, Jeremy & Ann are following a call to be part of City Church Sheffield in 2017.
Jeremy and Ann are based in the UK and spend most of their time serving churches in Europe, North America and Africa. When they're not traveling, they love to walk in the surrounding countryside - usually ending with a visit to a local pub!
Graham is married to Sarah and they have 4 children. Graham leads the team at Jubilee Church Derby and is also part of the ChristCentral Team. He works with churches primarily in the UK and Cambodia. Graham & Sarah are approved foster carers for the local authority and as well as looking after children, work with them to help encourage foster care recruitment in the city. Graham is also a Director of ChristCentral Churches (the charitable body that provides a legal, financial and governance framework to ChristCentral) and a school Governor.
This event is open to all and will seek to gather people from across churches in Gothenburg and further afield. Our hope is that we will also be joined by people from Churches in the UK keen to offer support.
Details of the running order will be confirmed closer to the time but we expect this to be a full day conference.
Details coming soon...
We will confirm whether we are able to provide any children's work closer to the event.
Hot & Cold drinks will be available at various times throughout the day.
We'd love you to help us promote the event with your church or community. To download our promo pack click here.
Whilst Gud Först Göteborg is a ChristCentral church plant (part of the Newfrontiers family) this conference is open to all churches and any Christians who are hungry to deepen their relationship with God and discover how He communicates His heart and purposes to us in so many different ways. There isn't a lower age bracket but this is a full day conference. If you feel that your young person can cope with the day and it would be beneficial to them, then we'd love them to join us, receive and be part of it. Parents/carers will need to decide whether this would be appropriate for their age & maturity.
We hope we've given you enough information here but if you wish to contact us about the event, or you would like images to publicise the event at your church, please contact:
