Join us for our online services every Sunday morning & evening. These will be our main Sunday celebrations for the foreseeable future until we are able to meet publicly again at QUAD. See below for more details...
Jubilee Online is a community of people all over Derby & further afield. We are a vibrant community shaped by the Spirit, equipped by the Word and sent to the nations. We are a community of people who love God and love each other. We have a Sunday meeting and midweek groups, but more importantly, Jubilee Church is about relationships; relationship with God and friendship with each other. God and connecting with one another like never before in history.
You have found a place to encounter God and people who care about you ❤️ — just as you are.
We want to invite you to join us as we launch Jubilee Online, a new service from Jubilee Church Derby. We thought it would be helpful to give you some more details about the format. We'll start off with a welcome from one of our team, followed by a time of worship, either using some publicly available videos or some of our wonderful worship team. Then we'll probably have a couple of notices followed by a short preach.
Jubilee Online will allow anyone to watch our services but if you want to join in live and interact with one another you will need to sign up and log in to your account (free). This will give you access to live prayer with one of our team and the ability to chat with others who are watching live.
We hope you can join us at 10am or 7pm but if you aren't able to for some reason please check out our our service archive here: jubilee.org.uk/watch.
You can also catch up on our latest sermons here: jubilee.org.uk/media.
Our church community isn't just aimed at our adult members. We're just as passionate (if not more passionate!!) about our Children & Young People growing in their friendship with Jesus. We want to serve our families during this time of uncertainty. So we will be continuing to make our main Sunday Celebration have sections in it which are accessible for all ages. Parents will also be able to find materials each week which can be downloaded and printed out for their children, to help them stay connected and engaged with what is happening. Some of these activities will be connected to the theme of the morning.
Online Children's Worship & Teaching
We've been given access to some fantastic resources for Children, these means we are able to provide worship and teaching content specifically for our children during this time. We have worked hard to try and fit these into timings which don't clash with our main celebration which we are hoping families can access together. We have also decided to show repeats of the previous Sundays worship & teaching on Wednesdays as well. These meetings will be shown at the following times:
Our youth team are working hard to keep our young people connected at this time. They've put together a programme of activities throughout the week with teaching, fun activities and social gatherings for our young people.
Challenge Tuesdays - each Tuesday there's a youth challenge, which has ranged from ideas for a RootID logo, Mi5 challenge style to bless someone secretly in their household, and most recently to find out about any stories from grandparents or other family members about WWII. We're also encouraging them to get involved in the weekly challenges being posted on the Facebook group.
Fun Friday’s - a weekly chance to gather (via Zoom) similar to our usual RootID Fridays (well isolation style). Including general catch up time and then fun and games, including various quizzes and challenges.
Sunday evenings - lads and ladies separate life groups. We have a weekly devotional plan which we discuss together on Sundays. We also have time to catch up and discuss how the week has gone and any prayer requests.
