On Sunday Alasdaire shared how God wants to transform us and we can't fail to be changed when His presence is amongst us.
Alasdaire shared:
I’ve had this verse about “being transformed from one degree of glory to another”, just running around my head all morning and then Graham referenced it in what he brought to us. I feel God wants to say some stuff to us as Jubilee Church. Because when God’s glory is encountered, things change, people change. When Moses encountered the glory of God in the tabernacle, he came out and they had to put a veil over his face because they couldn’t bear to look at him. But that verse says that we come out with unveiled faces, revealing the glory of God, when we come and we encounter the glory of God.
I believe the Father is saying Jubilee Church, I want you to be a place where the glory of God is encountered, where my glory is encountered and you need to know Jubilee that, that will change you and are you up for it? Are you up for that, because it will change you, it will change you in ways that you can’t possibly imagine right now.
When you encounter the glory of God and we touched on bits of the glory this morning, there was a sense of His glory and it’s weighty, it’s heavy, it changes things. As we encounter the glory of God, as we become a church where the glory of God is manifest, we will go out from this place transformed, with unveiled faces and that will impact each other, it will impact the streets and the communities around us. It will impact the nations because we’ve encountered the glory of God. But the Father’s challenge to us is, are we up for it? Because it will change us, it will change us!
