On Sunday Kelvin & Martin encouraged us to be a blessing, wherever we go.
Kelvin shared:
We’re visitors here today from up in Harrogate and I didn’t know what was going to be said just now but the two things go together. You know we’re commanded by God in the Bible to be a blessing, a blessing to one another. Now, if there are 70 people in the room here today, imagine your impact if you could bless one stranger every day for the next week. Whether that’s paying forward a cup of coffee, or simply a smile and a hello to someone who is homeless on the street or perhaps an elderly neighbour if you can pop by and simply ask, is everything ok?
God commands us to go out there and be a blessing to others. If every person in this building went and blessed just one person every day for the next 6 days, in a fortnights time that will have impacted 19 million people. Just imagine if you could be the start of a blessing to 19 million people, the impact that could have on 19,000,000 lives.
Martin continued:
Kelvin’s encouraged us this morning to go out and bless people, but when was the last time you actually did bless someone? Well, we can practice now, you can turn to the person standing next to you and say, God loves you. God loves you, it's often being said that we can’t do anything to make God love us more, but the flip side of that is you’re never unworthy enough to not receive His love, He loves you no matter what, and one of the easiest blessings we can do, is simply to remind someone that God loves them, no matter what.
