On Sunday Alasdaire encouraged us from Psalm 23 that God brings us to His banqueting table.

Alasdaire shares:
Following on from Rai’s word this morning I was reminded of a verse in Psalm 23 where it says ‘you prepare a table before me, in the presence of my enemies and it’s a really strange thing, to think about, what’s going on? I just feel God wants to ask you this morning, the question what are you looking at? What are your eyes fixed on?

Are you looking around at all your enemies? Whether that's the pressures of life and whether that's people you’ve fallen out with, I don’t know. Whatever the difficulty is, maybe it’s just the enemy having a go at you, at the moment, stirring things and trying to bring you down. Are you looking at those things?

Because Jesus says, “I've prepared a banquet table for you in the presence of all of that”, you can come and sit and eat and take part of me, that cup that is pressed down with blessing and flowing over. Jesus says that's at that table for you this morning so take your eyes off the things that are pressing in all around and fix your eyes on me, your rock and your salvation and come and eat at the banqueting table I've prepared for you in the presence of your enemies.
