On Sunday Chris encouraged us that where we feel like nothing can change, God wants to work through His freedom in our lives.
Chris shares:
I wanted to add something I felt a real sense from the Holy Spirit, that you know, He wanted to encourage the guys in RootID this morning about this. I don’t know what you are facing, but I imagine that some of you can feel quite afraid sometimes, quite attacked, sometimes at school. Like there’s people against you, sometimes at school. I wanted to encourage you. I’ve had a picture of, if you can imagine a crowd of people, a crowd of adults, a crowd of tall adults and you’re thinking “I can’t get through, how can I get through, how can I get through this wall of people?” Now just imagine a small, insistent child, working through the legs, pushing their way through, their elbows out and they get through to the front. Or imagine a wall full of stones and you think “how can I get through?”, but water gets through, water finds a way, there is a way through.
I think Jesus wants to encourage you and maybe encourage some of the adults as well, that He will find a way. And I think Jesus just wants to encourage you and maybe encourage some of the adults as well that he will find a way. That where you feel like nothing is going to change in this situation, nothing is going to change, “God, do you really see me?” He says, “yeah, yes, I do, and I will work through my freedom in your life, hold on to my hand and let me take you like a child through those legs of the adults and bring you into freedom, there is no wall that He cannot find a way through. Amen.
