On Sunday Chris spoke about God's mercies and how they are new everyday, that God wants to pour out His blessings on us.

Chris shares:
I had a picture whilst we were worshipping, of a being in a hall. I remember being in a hall as a child at school, a school hall, and there being a net above our heads (it must have been a party or something), and it was full of balloons. Can you imagine that? Imagine there is a net above our heads full of balloons. You’re thinking “wow, all of these balloons are going to get released”.

I was thinking, wow Lord, there’s mercy, there’s joy! Your earth will be filled with your glory. I felt God say, look around, look at your feet, now there are balloons all around us! God is going to release more, yes there is more coming! Yes, we’re going to see the glory of God in a way we’ve never seen before. They are all ready, and God’s mercy is new every day, it’s new this morning! There are mercies all around us, for us to see. “Wow, there’s joy, there’s love, there is provision, and as I was seeing this picture, I though, wow, Amen!". It feels like a party is a long way off and God says, I am here, I’m here to give you good things too!

Lord God I want to thank you, that, that is your heart, that Lord, you are full of goodness towards us, that Lord your heart is to say “I am with you, let me give you my joy, let me give you my peace, today. So, Lord, I pray for us as we worship, as we go out to our different groups, God would you be with us and would you show us more of the mercies that you’ve given even today?
