On Wednesday evening as has been our pattern for many years we gathered for a time of prayer & worship. We prayed for many things but one theme seemed to come through our time of worship together and led into our time of specific prayer. God, we long to see you!
During our time of worship Naomi shared a tongue (a spiritual song) and David brought an interpretation which we share below:
I long to see. I long to see with the eyes that you see, I long to see!
I long to see me, as you see me! I long to see, as you see those around me.
I long to see, your church in victory, I long to see.
I long to see your glory, I long to see your glory filling the temple, filling the temple, I long to see.
I long to see your glory come, to see your glory spill into these streets, into these streets, let your glory come.
I long to see, I long to see you, reigning in this nation, taking your rightful place, I long to see.
I long to see, your people reaching out to those in need, I long to see.
I long to see; every tribe and tongue sing one song, singing Holy, Holy, Holy.
I long to see, I'm desperate to see your glory. I've tasted and I've seen, but I want to see you more!
Open up my eyes, I long to see you, I long to see you.
I long to see, I long to see, see you Lord!
