Highlights from Sunday 15-Jan-23

A number of people shared prophetic words, encouragements and there was also a tongue and interpretation shared you can find these below. We hope you find them encouraging!

Are You Filled With The Power of God?

Are you filled? Are you filled? Are you filled with the power of God this morning, the power of God? That first song, when we were talking about it, was it was saying “filled with the power of God”, and the power of God, some of us, some of us this morning need more of that power. Some of us need more of that power for Holy Living. Some of us need that power for freedom. Some of us need that power to see breakthrough. Some of us need that power to grow in the character of God, to be holy, to be righteous, and it's out of that power, that this is available to us this morning.

I feel that the Lord God himself is saying “be filled here, I am to fill you afresh.”

So, wherever you are this morning, I really feel that God wants to fill you afresh with His power. We want to see that, we want to see and know and get that sense in our hearts. So, I'm going to call out to God if you want to open your hands, but open your heart to receive the power of God for your needs. Right now, the Father God wants to fill you with power to bring you into the fullness of His righteousness, His Holiness and His victory. Father come, Holy Spirit fill us, fill us right now, Holy Spirit, come Lord.

You say ask and I will give it and give it abundantly, so we receive, we receive. Pour out your spirit and your power, to be filled with your glory, filled with your righteousness, filled with your victory and the banner of love that is over us, residing in our hearts. Hallelujah! Fill us, Lord.

God's Presence - Fresh Every Day

When we're singing about God coming, I can't stop but my heart be stirred. I had a picture last week that God’s brought back to mind and we have a fruit bowl in our house and it's always really pathetic! It's got the one pair that's too soft and no one wants to eat and a couple of bruised apples in the bottom that everyone picks up puts in their bag and brings home again at the end of the day and you look at it and you think, no, I don't fancy any fruit! I'll go to the snack cupboard instead.

Over Christmas we emptied it out and filled it with chocolate. All the Christmas chocolate, it was great!

I just felt this morning that maybe some people when we're hearing about God coming and God filling and God's fire and God's power. Sometimes we can feel a bit like we're looking at the old fruit bowl "oh yeah, we kind of came before and we maybe prayed before and it was a bit and it was all right and that was a bit and now it's gone off and not very appetising anymore. But the good news is God’s (presence) is new every morning. His mercies, His grace, He's got fresh power and fresh fire for us this morning. We don't have to make do with the bit that's been kicking around in the bottom of our souls for the last year and a half. There is freshness this morning and it is the most amazing tropical fruit. It's all of those good things! It's as good as chocolate! It's so much better than anything we can taste or imagine or think of or experience in this world. God is better. God is better.

Tongue & Interpretation

"The Bible talks about spiritual gifts and about tongues and interpretation of tongues. A tongue is a language that the Holy Spirit gives us to help us to worship Jesus. The Bible is really clear that in a church gathering or a public meeting, if there is a tongue, then there should also be an interpretation. That it is a Godward prayer, or Godward praise."

Interpretation:
Lord, I've seen you move. Lord, I've seen you move and sometimes it seems as though you only move on others and my heart still feels weary, Lord. And Lord, I look at the stories in the Old Testament when you move on your people and there's power and there's fire and there's cloud and there's visions and God sometimes I just feel so weak, I don't feel like I could lead like they lead, Lord. But then you, you call me out like Gideon and you say that I'm a mighty warrior and I don't see that, but you say it's by your Spirit, it's not my might, nor my power, but by the Spirit, Lord.

So I say God, would you move afresh in me? Would you come like the rain Lord, like that mighty rain Lord, that refreshes everything? Lord, would you come like that? Like that fire that burns up all the mess and the things that don't need to be there, so that fresh, so that freshness can grow and new life can come! Lord, would you breathe afresh on me?

Lord, would you let that power come afresh on me? Lord, would you come afresh on us, Lord. Lord, we're hungry for you, we're thirsty for you, God, we long for you and we look upon you and we say, God, we want the things of your Spirit, Lord, we're hungry for the things of you! We don't want anything less than everything that you have for us Lord, and we know that it's more than what we've seen and experienced, Lord. Whatever that is, however powerfully we've seen you move, Lord, we know that you have more for us or that you want us to know you more. You want us to be more aware of you in our day-to-day Lord, more aware of you in the things that we do with our lives. Lord, in our day-to-day Lord would you come? Would you come, Lord, we're hungry for You! We're thirsty for you, Lord God come, Lord!
