Tim sang a song based on Ephesians 3:16-21


"I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Martin shared about God's love


We've heard and sung a lot about God loving us and when Graham started to sing about "His name is like honey upon our lips" it reminded me the of other week that since April 2020 when I came out of hospital having COVID I haven't drank a cup of coffee. Before that I used to drink coffee by the gallon. About a fortnight or so ago I just suddenly had a craving for a latte, just out of the blue. So I had a latte surprised my wife and my children with me, who were there and I loved it!

It shouldn't come as a surprise really, because God so loves us, he's created us in his image. You think about your senses, your taste, that's a love gift from God. I love fish & chips. I love steak, but God could have made us to run on porridge and nothing else and wouldn't that be boring? I mean I like porridge but not every day or every meal.

The other week I was back in hospital again with COVID related stuff. I came back out of hospital and like a fool, I signed up for a challenge to walk hundred kilometres with the dogs this month to raise funds for dementia.

So I thought I've got to stick to that. So I started walking the dogs even though I can hardly put one foot in front of the other and I was just amazed at the leaves on the trees
the colours on the turn and I thought God thank you! The ability to see colours, even though I'm slightly colour blind, is a gift of love from God, to see colours. He's created the world with all the colours. He could have created that just for himself and made us to see everything in black and white.

But he loves us! As I was walking the dogs, the other thing I was hearing was the birds singing. Have you ever heard a bird sing out of tune? He's given us the ability or most of us the ability to enjoy music and hear different sounds. Giving us the ability to listen to Tim singing too. Thanks Tim.

Sometimes we wait to see what God is going to do to love us, the scripture tells us that he He died while we were still sinners because he loves us. But still people still say that God's not done anything because, does he love us? Just think about your senses and He created them, He created them so you can share in the wonders of his creation! He Loves You! Never ever think that God doesn't love you!

When you have your favourite food, "Thank you Lord for loving me". When you see one of the nicest scenes you've ever seen, say, "thank you Lord for the colours". When you are listening to a good piece of music, say, “thank you Lord for loving, me that I can, enjoy that music". God Loves you! Don't listen to the devil who says he doesn't love you, because He does!
