DERBY STREET PASTORS HAVE BEEN OPERATING WITHIN THE NIGHT TIME ECONOMY FOR THE PAST 12 YEARS.  AS WE COME OUT OF THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC RESTRICTIONS WE ARE LOOKING TO STRENGTHEN OUR TEAM OF FANTASTIC VOLUNTEERS. Join the team on Tuesday 5th Ocotber to find out more...

Street Pastors are trained volunteers from many local churches who provide a visible, reassuring presence for everyone in the city centre. Derby City Mission, usually operate in teams of three or four, and are out and about, prayerfully patrolling, between 10pm and 4am on Friday and Saturday nights. 

To help you discover if Street Pastors is for you, the DCM team are holding an information evening on Tuesday 5th October at 7.30pm at the Derby City Mission Hub Building at 10 Normanton Road.  So please do go along and hear from the current team of their experiences as a Street Pastor along with an explanation of the application process and training programme you will receive to equip you for this ministry.

** Please note there is limited parking on the Normanton Road site and so it would be appreciated if you could park on some of the side streets opposite the building which are free after 6pm (please check parking restrictions before leaving your vehicle).
