What's on this Christmas?

There's a lot of uncertainty this year, what with all the upheaval that is taking place, it can be difficult to know how we're going to celebrate over this Christmas season.

This sounds similar to the original Christmas story to us! The upheaval of a census, travelling 90 miles, along hilly dusty paths, heavily pregnant, riding on a donkey. Finding the city full of people and no where available to stay! The young couple end up sheltering in a stable. None of this would have been easy, safe or fun!

So there are once again, so many parallels for us as we approach this Christmas season! Whilst we probably won't be able to gather in crowded places or travel to spend time with loved ones we can still find hope, joy and peace through the person of Jesus.

So despite all this uncertainty, we will be having a Christmas service during December. We haven't completely tied down the dates yet but we've got plenty of ideas and a few tricks up our sleeves. To make it less complicated we’ll be doing these services online.

So why not plan to come and join us online as we celebrate the story of Christmas with carols, songs and a retelling of the story of Christmas.

We look forward to you joining us - please do invite friends too!

What about Christmas Day?

We've got plans to play out a Christmas Day service on the hour every hour throughout Christmas Day on our online platform: live.jubilee.org.uk so you can join in with us as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. We've heard rumours there will be puppets, stories and song. Watch this space!
