Race & Diversity

Next Sunday we are launching a new series on the subject of Race & Diversity
Earlier this year America and the rest of the world were rocked by the murder of George Floyd, this brought into sharp relief the subject of racism both in society and also in the church. At the time we spoke about how we would like to spend some time in discussion, learning and reflection. Through this process we would seek to begin to address this issue as a church family together.

This is our humble attempt at beginning the process of rooting out racism amongst us and allowing the Lord to draw us closer into his intention of a church which represents and allows every nation, tribe, people and tongue to gather as one new humanity, thriving and rejoicing in our togetherness and allowing our differences and diversity to be a blessing to the nations (see Revelation 7:9).

We know we aren't there yet, we know in many ways we have a long way to go but we want to walk this road together. We want to grow and demonstrate love for each person in our community and for that to impact the world around us.

Stay tuned as we delve into this subject, each Sunday 10am and repeated at 7pm at: live.jubilee.org.uk
