It’s that time of year again and we are preparing for this Winter’s Derby Churches Nightshelter which will open on 1st December and operate throughout the Winter, closing on the morning of 1st April.
There are so many different opportunities to be involved, and not all of them at the actual Nightshelter, so if you would like to count yourself in this year, do go along to the following information evening:

In preparation for Derby Churches Nightshelter opening its doors on 1st December 2019, Derby City Mission would like to invite you to an introductory evening. During this informal session, you will get the opportunity to hear about how the nightshelter is run and the various volunteering opportunities available to you.
We ask for a commitment to volunteer once every fortnight between 7-10pm for 4 months on a day that suits you (Nightshelter operates 7 days a week).
At the end of the session, if you are interested, you will be given the opportunity to sign up as a volunteer and given more details on 'next steps' which will include some essential and non mandatory training available to you.
