The Gary Bonner Singers - Sing Praise

We at the Derby Central Corps of the Salvation Army are delighted to announce that we are to host a Gospel Concert presented by the famous American choir The Gary Bonner Singers.

The concert, part of their ‘Sing Praise’ tour, will take place on Sunday 30th June 2019 at 16.30 in our church at 34 - 38 Osmaston Road, Derby DE1 2HU.  The concert is free to attend and a retiring collection will be taken on the day.  It will be the last opportunity to hear the group, as they proceed directly to Heathrow Airport after the concert to return home.

We know the concert is going to be an excellent occasion and we would cordially invite members of your fellowship to come along and join us for what will be a most memorable event.

We would be very grateful if you would publicise this event within your congregation and other areas of influence.  A poster is attached for you to print and use - and to electronically forward on to others.

We look forward to hopefully meeting you in June.

Quotes about the singers:

“It was a real pleasure to hear The Bonner Singers last year. Their extremely varied programme, excellent singing and joyful presentation will delight UK audiences”

Dorothy Nancekievill – Conductor, International Staff Songsters

“I’ve been associated Gary Bonner Singers for many years. I’m honored to have written several works for this exemplary chorus. When my music is performed by this group, I know that it is sung with great musical artistry and heart..”

Mark Hayes, Award Winning Composer and Pianist

“I well remember the appearance by the Bonner Singers at The Western Music Institute in 2018 when I was guest conductor for the week. This large choral group delivered a powerful performance with a rich variety of engaging selections. The soloists were exceptional, and the standard of the group was truly inspiring. Highly recommended.”

Stephen Bulla, Composer & Conductor
