Derby Bible Week 2019 - How to be Human?

Derby Bible Week event for 2019, where we have Tim Chester speaking from Colossians on the subject:

  

How to be human?

What does it mean to be truly human in an age which is redefining identity?
What does it mean to live a fulfilled life in a consumer culture?
How can we be the people we want to be?
These are the issues being considered in conversation with Paul's letter tot he Colossians.

The meetings will be held each evening at 7:30pm, from Monday 29th April to Thursday 2nd May, at Woodlands Evangelical Church, Blenheim Drive, Allestree, Derby and also at 10:00am at Christ Church, Great Northern Rd, Derby. 

Tim Chester is the pastor of Grace Church Boroughbrdige in North Yorkshire, a faculty member of Crosslands Training and chair of Keswick Ministries. He is the author of over 40 books. His latest book is Enjoying God: Experience the Power and Love of God in Everyday Life. He was previously Research and Policy Director for Tearfund and has been an adjunct lecturer in missiology and reformed spirituality. He is married to Helen and has two daughters.
