Hope Centre is a project run by Derby City Church. They went live last week with a crowdfuning Initiative specifically aimed at raising funds to purchase small and medium clothing for the most vulnerable and marginalised men within out city who often have nothing but the clothes they are standing in. Many of you know already about the Hope Centre but maybe not about the issue that we don’t receive anywhere near the amount of appropriate clothing we need for smaller sized males – meaning they go away with nothing of clothing that just isn’t suitable for them, leaving them vulnerable still.
We can purchase jeans, jumpers, coats, hoodies & t-shirts for just £5 a piece meaning that if we raise £5000 through matched funding with the Council then we can purchase 200 of each item.
