Councillor Skelton & Councillor Willoughby have organised for a room in the Council House to be made available for a time of prayer prior to each council meeting over the next year. They have invited a number of other councillors from all parties to join them.
Many local councillors serve their communities faithfully with little thanks! For some this is also a ‘route in’ to other political roles. We'll be thanking God for the work of Derby City Council, and asking that he would use them to help bring peace, prosperity, righteousness, and hope to our city.
For further information you can contact Cllr Steve Willoughby.
If you are planning to attend please let Steve know via email so that they have an idea of numbers and so that they can inform the Council House reception. When you arrive please ask the reception staff to sign you in as guests of Cllr Skelton or Willoughby and contact them on 07941 466186 and you will be met in the reception area.
If you are interested to sit in on the Council Meeting which follows you can take the opportunity to sit in the Public Gallery from 6pm following these meetings.
