“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.” (John 14:1-4)

People all over the world are lost and searching, and many people in Cambodia are searching for a permanent place to settle their lives. With this scripture in mind, we are sharing this message of hope with many across Cambodia. We see positive results almost daily. To God be the glory and thank you for your continued partnership with us.

Let me tell you about Sol who was a single mother without hope. She was once married and was blessed with a little precious daughter.  Eventually her husband left her but not without first scaring her from abuse on her body, mind and soul. Sol was also suffering from ill health (issues with her thyroid) that made her blind. This forced her to become homeless and she began a search for a safe and loving home. God by His mercy, brought Sol to our TransformAsia (TA) Church in Anlong Veng. There, she felt welcomed and loved by many, especially those that came from the David Orphanage Center (DOC). At the end of one meeting Sol worked up enough courage to ask one of our TA David staff if she could come and work for food and a safe place to stay. With mercy and a compassionate heart, this person told Sol that her leader, Ms. Randa will definitely consider allowing Sol her request. By God’s grace, Randa did just that and Sol now calls DOC her loving home. TA took Sol to Battambang Regional Hospital to have her thyroid treated. She is on a 6 month medication and is doing well. She gave her testimony at Church that she is thankful to God for bringing her to a house of God that is filled with love and for finally feeling loved by others.

This housing is only a temporary for Sol. Jesus makes it clear to us that, “..[m]y Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you.” This is the eternal hope we are sharing each and everyday with our fellow countrymen in Cambodia. We just wanted you to know that your gifts, whether financial or prayer, to TransformAsia continues to make a difference in many lives from infants, children, teenagers and adults!
