Road Closures

On Sunday 12th July 2015 the Jenson Button Triathlon is taking place in Derby. This is set to be their biggest event to date with the capacity for double the amount of competitors as seen in previous years. To be held in Markeaton Park, Derby on Sunday 12th July, competitors will get the chance to race against the 2009 Formula 1 World Champion and a number of amateur and professional Triathletes.

For the first time this year part of the Triathlon will take place on Derby's roads, with road closures in force between 8.45am and 4pm.

Depending on where you live in Derby, this event will impact your journey to QUAD. There are however a number of alternative routes which will remain open so unless you live along the route of the Triathlon you shouldn't be affected too badly. Traffic may however be heavier than usual on this Sunday so please allow extra time for your journey.

See below a basic map of the route or click here for a more detailed google map.
