On Sunday Patrick shared a picture about being blown by the wind of the spirit.

Patrick shared:
There is a real sense that the wind is blowing from Heaven this morning and I don’t think it’s just this morning. Over a number of weeks there's been that sense of the Spirit of God starting to move and this wind is blowing.

I got a picture and a thing came to my mind this morning about water and about moving on water. Rowing is quite an interesting sport, you can go very fast on water, you can put a lot of effort in and a lot of energy to move along the water but that is very different to sailing.

When you are sailing, you put up your sail on the mast and you catch the wind. I got a sense this morning that maybe for many of us that wind is blowing but we are rowing. We're putting all our efforts in which is good and we're doing a lot of the good things that you do as a Christian and in our walk with God. However, somehow, we're missing the sweet spot. We're not catching the wind and I just feel this morning that God is saying to stop rowing, to be still, put your sail up and seek the wind and catch it and go with the wind.
