Exceed The Last Water Mark

On Sunday David shared how when God moves, things change, priorities change, he sang a song calling for the Holy Spirit to come and move afresh.

David shared:

When God's presence comes, things will look different. The things that we thought were important won't seem so vital anymore. Because God wants to change the atmosphere, He'll move people around, He'll change priorities.

Martin's just been speaking about Loving God and that being core and not just being something, we do when we're doing something else but something that's core of who we are, that we focus on that we give our lives to.

And the Holy Spirit wants to draw us back to Him, back to what's core, what's central, back to God's heart. Even away from the vision that God may have given us, sometimes even those things can become a distraction from worshipping.

Holy Spirit, would you come? We're hungry for you, Lord. Would you blow through this place, Lord, would you change our priorities afresh. Would you restore our first love?

Lord, where we've grown weary in doing good, Lord, would you restore us? Lord, would we find our source in you, not in the things that we do, but in you, Lord.

Holy Spirit, would you come? Blow through this place, would you exceed the, the last watermark of your Spirit Lord, Lord, where the flood, where the flood waters rose before, would you exceed them? Will we know a fresh sense of your presence, but not just a sense, would we experience your goodness God.

Where signs and wonders flow, but we don't seek those things, we want you, Lord. We're hungry for you, would you rest on us, God, would we not look the same, like Moses, the glory shine forth from our faces. Lord, Lord, you want to live in us, Lord, you want to make us many temples that carry your presence everywhere we go and to do that, we must be filled. Would you come afresh in our hearts Lord?

Would you overflow like that mighty river, flowing from your throne, changing everything, bringing life to the trees on either side, healing in their leaves. Lord, would you come? Would it flow out, Lord, would you bring order to the chaos in our lives? Order to the chaos in this city, Lord, would you come in this nation! Holy Spirit flow from this place, flow from our hearts, we long for you to come.
