Derby City Mission (DCM) is recruiting to the post of City Missionary to work in its Relief of Poverty department. A total of three Full Time posts are being recruited for.
Street Pastors have now been operating in Derby for 7 years and during that time have helped make a significant difference to the levels of violent crime, injury and drunkenness in the city centre, especially on Friday & Saturday nights.
Derby Churches Nightshelter is the largest ecumenical project in the city. It looks to serve the street homeless of Derby with overnight accommodation, a meal, breakfast, love, care and a listening ear from 1st Dec-31st March.
