Newday is a great annual Christian festival for young people aged 12+ held each summer. The main event is currently based at Uttoxeter Racecourse, close to Derby, where over 6000 young people will gather for a week of camping, worship, seminars and other fun activities. On site there will be loads of opportunities for the young people to relax and make new friends in cafes, through the sports programmes or at the live gigs throughout the week.  Each afternoon, 650 young people will head into Derby to work on community projects where they will have the opportunity to practically demonstrate their Christian faith. Click here to find out more about Newday in the City.  Newday is the key youth event organised by Newfrontiers, an international network of around 650 churches. Part of Newfrontiers’ vision is to plant churches, sending people across the world to form communities of believers according to New Testament principles. Newday serves this vision by training and equipping young people to fulfil their God given potential. It encourages them to be a part of the vision that God has given Newfrontiers as a family of churches together on a mission across the world. Newday is, however, open to young people from any church, and seeks to serve other churches by training and equipping young people from across the UK and abroad.
